DPI + AI Fellowship
India's Digital Public Infrastructure has changed how citizens receive payments, prove identity, and access documents. This fellowship studies how AI can be built on top of that infrastructure safely and fairly.
Who should apply
Technologists, economists, lawyers, and policy researchers with an interest in digital public infrastructure, data governance, or financial inclusion.
What fellows do
- Research a specific question at the meeting point of DPI and AI, such as consent frameworks, interoperability, or grievance mechanisms.
- Produce a paper, technical note, or prototype.
- Engage with practitioners who build and run these systems.
