Bharat AI Dialogues

Our convening series on the most contested questions in Indian AI policy. Each Dialogue gathers a small group of senior officials, researchers, technologists, industry leaders, and civil society representatives for a focused discussion.

Format

Most Dialogues are held under the Chatham House Rule. Participants may use what they hear but may not attribute it to any speaker. This lets serving officials and company executives speak candidly.

After each session we publish a short summary of the main arguments and points of agreement, without naming speakers.

We also host a smaller number of public Dialogues, which are open to registered attendees and recorded.

Topics we convene on

Data protection and AI training dataAI in courts and policingAI and employmentPublic procurement of AISafety testing of AI modelsAI in agriculture and healthThe role of states in AI governance

Participate

Dialogues are by invitation. If you would like to be considered for a future session, or to propose a topic, write to connect@bharataifoundation.org.
